My wife and I dealt with Luc Barrett we had such a wonderful experience. They were instrumental in installing hand controls in my new vehicle. They took the time to explain how everything works , to understand my preferences, and to make the overall experience as convenient and safe as possible. We drove 3 hours from Windsor to deal specifically with them and it was well worth it. I would recommend it to anyone who has mobility needs they really strive to work with you . -

We bought a Stair lift about 10 years ago. The staff at SilverCross were very helpful and coordinated With VA for us. The stairlift has operated very well until recently. We have had the lift maintained regularly (about every 2 years). We had 1 Battery replacement. This time it was the chair motor on the verge of failing. Kevin, the service technician was very nice and observed all the COVID precautions. All the people we dealt with at Silvercross have been great. First Class operation.

Staff friendly and eager to help you make a purchase. However, I purchased the Gogo Scooter with CTS suspension for my dad who is 87 with severe back issues. After delivery my dad took the scooter for a test drive in the back yard and had trouble getting off the grass to the concrete patio due to a 1/4 rise. We later determined that by applying a faster speed, this would not be a problem...but not without a jolt - so he would need to brace himself. Not sure why they highlight the improved CTS suspension as this feature is very much lacking with this scooter. I would have appreciated if the staff would have mentioned this and possibly suggested better model for a frail elderly person. I called silver cross the very next day to see if we could exchange for a model with larger wheels and I was told it could be returned but we would need to pay a 300 restocking fee. Very disappointing. The next day my dad tested the scooter on the sidewalk and immediately complained the ride was too bumpy and therefore hurting his back. He is now driving the scooter on the road which is very concerning to his family. Silver cross...you're the experts and therefore should do a better job ensuring customers get what they need.

Great service when you are buying. Installation was great! Here comes the but .... I was told if it was no longer needed, (my mother was almost 90 at the time), it would be bought back for 1/3 of the cost. The \custom\ lift was almost 12,000. (I use \...\ because it comes in 3 sections, so the 3-stair curve at the very bottom made it \custom\.....). The straight one for the basement was a little over 2,000. My mother had to go into long-term care less than a year later. Try to sell it back??? Forget it! (nothing in writing, sadly!). The \custom\ one would not be re-sellable .... and the straight one, well, \there were just too many of them on the floor already\. I believe the cost to remove each was around 150. So, if you need a stairlift, sales and customer service are expensive, but smooth and great. If you no longer need it .... forget that sales pitch. Extremely disappointing, if not downright infuriating. ps - The post script because I could not find a place to respond to the owner, and thank you for your response. However, I think you misunderstood me. The buyback was promised on sale, but I stupidly did not think to get it in writing. ok. So it didn't happen, not even for the NON-Custom straight stairlift to the basement. I was NOT offered anything for the chair, motor or battery. That never even came up when I called. It was just a straight o\. Makes it feel like a slick \let's get this sold and move on\ manoeuver. I have sadly heard the same thing from several other people in the meantime.
